Introducing the Hometown Haunts and Hops Horror Convention!

Hello everyone! I'm excited to share some news with you all. As a member of the Inebri-Art team, I'm thrilled to announce that our friends and collaborators, Hometown Horror Podcast, have been working with us behind the scenes for the past few months to bring an amazing event to life.

We've been working tirelessly to create a fantastic lineup of events and activities that will keep you entertained and engaged throughout the day. Our event will feature panels, vendors, live podcasts, trivia, costume contests, horror movies, and participation from local haunt industry experts. We're also hopeful that we might even be able to bring in a few celebrities to make the event even more exciting!

And of course, we can't forget about the most important attraction of all - the beer! Our friends at Mayflower Brewing Company will be providing us with plenty of delicious brews for you to enjoy throughout the day.

We're truly excited to see everything coming together and can't wait to share this event with you all. Stay tuned for more details and mark your calendars because you won't want to miss this spooky and thrilling event!

Pinehills has a lot to say about Inebri-art

On a bar stool in Plymouth, Massachusetts, in 2011, a simple idea was born between a couple of like-minded creatives. Andy Driscoll and Mike “Fish” Murphy, brainstormed that humor and drink could be a powerful way to make art, music, and entertainment accessible to the masses. Inebri-Art was born!

Dumpster Funk @ Soundcheck Studios

Hey Inebri-ites! It has been a crazy few years and it’s bizarre to think I have been doing this Inebri-Art thing for more than a decade. I am always trying to find ways to promote the arts and generate more content for our fans. I took a night off last night to go out and have a little fun. I bought tickets for a concert to a new local venue. Sadley I can never shut my brain off and found my self thinking “This place is amazing” & “How do more people not know about this band.” Long story short I decided I would turn my concert/show attending experience into a blog. So here we are. Last night (2/17/2022) based on a friend’s recommendation (that would be Teddy MacGuire author of “The Dive Bar Qualifier”) I went and saw Dumpster Funk. Teddy assured me they where the best live funk band in existence. Doors opened at 7pm and I was there just a few mins after that. I was immediately blown away by the new venue at Soundcheck Studios. This has got to be one of the best venues south of Boston. It has an amazing bar, multiple levels, great sound, and a top-notch light show. Local band Crooked Coast took the stage right at 8PM. Now I have heard their name multiple times, but never had the opportunity to see them. They but on a great show driven by their high energy drummer. They had a very 90’s early 00’s sound and would have fit nicely on any American Pie soundtrack. I will be looking to see them again in the future for sure. They got the crowd up and dancing when Dumpster Funk took the stage. This seven piece took the stage and blew the roof of. You know there is amazing talent in the band when the trumpet player breaks out his phone to film the drum solo while on stage. I must say Teddy was right, I will be going to see them any time they come to town as well as looking for more shows to check out at Soundcheck.
